Qmentum Quarterly is produced by Accreditation Canada as a platform for knowledge exchange about innovative practices in health care.
To support widespread knowledge exchange, the publication is available online, free of charge, in French and English. Since we went to the online format, our readers have told us how much easier it is for them to share the content with their colleagues—precisely our intention!
The authors who write for Qmentum Quarterly are at the forefront of health care innovation and best practices. They hail from a broad spectrum of professional backgrounds in health care and they all have valuable insights to offer about implementing successful quality improvement initiatives. Qmentum Quarterly is a way for them to share their experiences with others who may want to incorporate elements of these practices at their own organizations.
Each issue contains five or six articles focused on one theme. Past themes include primary care, emergency health services, partnerships, culture of care, and physician engagement, to name a few. Look for the upcoming spring 2014 issue on managing chronic conditions and the summer issue on ethics in health care, the latter of which will have an article on transparency from CPSI.
Qmentum Quarterly is available from accreditation.ca/publications-menu.
