Web-Based Data Collection Tool Training – October 27, 2010 (1:00 pm EST) - Patient Safety Metrics Web-Based Data Collection Tool. Virginia Flintoft Project Manager and Alexandru Titeu, Project Coordinator from the Central Measurement Team will provide training on how to submit data, view worksheets and access reports in the new web-based measurement system.

Surgical Site Infection National Call – November 16, 2010 (12:00 Noon EST) – How’s your timing with c-sections and warming of patients? Speakers include: Dr. Scott Sullivan, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Medical University of South Carolina (USA); Dr. Anjali Kaimal, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Massachusetts General Hospital (USA); and Dr. Claude Laflamme, Director of Cardiac Anesthesia, Sunnybrook & Women’s College Health Science Centre (Toronto, ON)

Ventilator Associated Pneumonia (VAP) National Call – November 18, 2010 (12:00 pm EST) – Delirium screening for mechanically ventilated patients in the ICU. Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI) National Call – November 18, 2010 (1:00 pm EST) – Can the Improvement Process be used for better organization of AMI care? Presented by Rody Pike, Clinical Educator Cardiology and Cardiac Catherization Lab, Eastern Health (Newfoundland and Labrador)
