Canadian Patient Safety Week (CPSW) is fast approaching and packages containing posters, newspapers, meal tray placemats, hand sanitizer wipes and more have been mailed out to the over 1200 individuals who have registered to participate in the week, November 1-5, 2010.
Additional resources such as patient safety tip sheets, quizzes and games, are available for those participating in the week at www.asklistentalk.ca, as well as an Online Store where CPSW promotional items can be purchased.
Canadian Patient Safety Week increases awareness of patient safety issues and aims to share information about best practices in patient safety with healthcare providers, patients, residents, clients and their families.
The theme of Canadian Patient Safety Week – Ask. Listen. Talk. – promotes the importance of communication between and among patients, clients, consumers and providers and applies to all healthcare settings and sectors.
