Master Trainer course (currently not available)
The Master Trainer course is a one and a half to two day (1.5 – 2) course that is based on a train the trainer model. It covers the core TeamSTEPPS concepts and tools and includes education in change management, coaching, measurement and implementation planning. It is important to remember that your role as a Master Trainer extends beyond the completion of this course. The Master Trainer, as a change agent, must serve as a leader in your organization to implement TeamSTEPPS and facilitate change.
Upon completion of this training session the participant will be able to:
- Identify the teamwork and communication issues within their work environment
- Apply the knowledge gained in this training session to apply to the issues identified related teamwork and communication
- Utilize the TeamSTEPPS tools and resources to support TeamSTEPPS unit/organization roll-out
- Lead and inspire others in the application of TeamSTEPPS tools and resources
