The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the Canadian Patient Safety Institute are pleased to offer a new ASPIRE (Advancing Patient Safety In Residency Education) Certificate Course.

ASPIRE prepares faculty to teach, coach and assess the quality improvement and patient safety competencies integrated throughout the CanMEDS 2015 framework in the context of Competency by Design. The ultimate goal is to ensure that every resident in Canada develops the necessary competencies to enhance quality and safety for patients and their families.

Why should you attend?

1)  You are a program director who would like to implement a curriculum to teach patient safety or quality improvement 

2)  You are a clinical teacher who would like to teach and assess quality improvement and patient safety to learners across the continuum

3)  You are a patient safety or quality improvement expert who would like to learn how to educate others
