I've got some news . . . and as much as I want to share it with everyone right now, I'm afraid that I've been sworn to secrecy.
What I can tell you is that this is good news.
This is good news for the Canadian public. It is good news for every patient, resident and client accessing healthcare in this country, not to mention the loved ones who are by their side every step of the way.
This is good news for healthcare providers who are dedicated to providing safe care. Who regard their patients and their families as partners and who are always looking for ways to improve the safety and quality of the care they deliver.
This is good news for healthcare leaders who are the stewards of our healthcare system and seek to make system-wide improvements and effect changes in culture that allow for quality improvement to thrive.
Everyone who touches our healthcare system is about to be given free access to a resource that allows them to make a difference.
Now that I think about it, this isn't good news. This is great news!
