Eric is a dedicated, public affairs professional, focused on raising the profile of patient safety with policy makers across Canada. Since joining CPSI in 2015, Eric has led the organisation's efforts to engage and educate federal and provincial government members.
Upon the completion of his academic education at Carleton University, Eric began his 'real world' education in advocacy and public affairs. With over a decade of experience on Parliament Hill listening to Canadians concerns and advising parliamentarians, he found a passion in the health policy sector assisting organizations leading change through political engagement.
Eric is skilled in identifying and managing key relationships that impact institutional effectiveness and meet public policy objectives. He is an excellent communicator with a recognized ability and proven record in establishing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and developing strategy. Eric was named one of the Top 100 Lobbyists in 2011 and 2012 by The Hill Times.
When he is not pursuing safer health care for Canadians, Eric is an avid cyclist and father of two beautiful girls.
