Vision for patient safety in Canada:
I envision a healthcare system that consistently focuses on delivering safe, reliable, evidence based care at every interface of care. This vision also includes working hand in hand with patients and families to help ensure integration of care across the continuum.
Vision for patient safety education in Canada:
I envision all healthcare curriculums within our healthcare system integrating patient safety science into their education programs. As well, I envision continual integration of patient safety topics into health professionals development and continuing education programs.
