Jillian Paul is the Director, Policy and Innovation, Health Quality and Funding Division at the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
Since she began with the Ministry in 2010, she has been in charge of supporting the health care system with the adoption of the principles of the Excellent Care for All Act, Ontario’s quality legislation. Previous to the Ministry, Jillian held progressively senior positions at Cancer Care Ontario where she worked in various capacities including operational oversight and strategic performance management. She was also part of the Hospital Report Research Collaborative at the University of Toronto
developing and providing performance information to hospitals in Ontario. Over her career she has worked in the hospital, primary care and community care sectors. Jillian completed her undergraduate studies at Queen’s University and attended Wilfrid Laurier University for her Master’s degree.
