Les 28 février et 1er mars 2005, l'ICSP, la Fondation canadienne de la recherche sur les services de santé et les Instituts de recherche en santé du Canada ont parrainé conjointement une réunion à laquelle participaient des chercheurs et des décideurs de haut niveau dans le domaine de la sécurité des patients au Canada. Cette réunion avait pour but d'établir les priorités de recherche en ce qui concerne la sécurité des patients au Canada.
