Canadian Adverse Events Reporting and Learning System

A key priority in the 2008-2013 CPSI Strategic Plan is the development of a pan-Canadian reporting and learning system that will support the gathering of information about adverse events so that it can be sorted, integrated, evaluated and acted upon in a highly coordinated and timely manner.

In an effort to initiate conversation and to enrol support for the development of a pan-Canadian adverse event reporting and learning system, CPSI developed a consultation paper for a Canadian Adverse Event Reporting and Learning System (CAERLS).

This consultation paper for the basis for pan-Canadian stakeholder consultation meetings held across Canada from November 2008 to May 2009.
