Save the date, and mark your calendars!
Canadian Patient Safety Week is a time to highlight and celebrate the great work being done across the country in patient safety. This year, Canadian Patient Safety Week will be celebrated October 26th – 30th.
We’re busy planning for CPSW 2015, and we have some news to share.
Over the past 10 years CPSW has grown from 65 participants to over 2000! We are so excited about the success; but we need to make changes to keep up with the demand. Starting in 2015, the packages will be available at a nominal charge of $20. We promise you will be impressed! These packages will continue to be filled with high quality materials you need to host an effective and fun campaign. The materials will be conversation starters, and patients and providers will be living the CPSW mantra Ask. Listen.Talk. You’ll be proud to display and share the contents with your organization. Check back May 5th when registration opens. You’ll want to register and reserve your package as soon as possible.
This year’s theme will focus on the importance of improving communications, and how this can have a positive impact on patient safety. Be sure to check back to see the 2015 campaign posters, they will be unveiled soon.
If you are still interested in ordering more buttons or posters from last year’s campaign, visit our online store.
Canadian Patient Safety Week is a national annual campaign that started in 2005 to inspire extraordinary improvement in patient safety and quality. As the momentum for promoting best practices in patient safety has grown, so has the participation in Canadian Patient Safety Week. Canadian Patient Safety week is relevant to anyone who engages with our healthcare system: providers, patients, and citizens. Working together, thousands help spread the message to Ask. Listen. Talk.
