What is the IHI National Forum?
The Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s (IHI) Annual National Forum on Quality Improvement in Health Care is the premier "meeting place" for people committed to the mission of improving health care. This annual event draws approximately 6,000 healthcare leaders from around the world in person and thousands more via satellite broadcast.
Since 2006, the Canadian Patient Safety Institute (CPSI), Medbuy Corporation , other sponsors, and the pan-Canadian Planning Committee, have partnered to provide access to the IHI National Forum broadcast. Prior to this, it was cost-prohibitive for many Canadian sites/organizations to receive the broadcast. Partly as a result of our successful 2008 pan-Canadian webcast of the IHI National Forum, we are very pleased to advise you that IHI is now able to offer the broadcast directly to Canadian sites/organizations at an affordable rate.
IHI is now offering the broadcast of its National Forum On Demand via webcast for individuals. The nine keynote and mini keynote sessions will be recorded and made available 30 minutes after each live session for individuals to watch at their desktop, on their own time. The live version of the broadcast will also be available via satellite on December 8 and 9th for group viewing. Interested healthcare sites or individuals across Canada can register directly with IHI. For more information and to inquire about group discounts, please visit: www.ihi.org
The Canadian Patient Safety Institute would like to thank Medbuy Corporation and the other sponsors for their significant support over the past three years in making the IHI broadcast accessible to sites in Canada.
