The Canadian Patient Safety Officer Course (CPSOC) offered a comprehensive program to quality and patient safety professionals over the past three years. Participants gained an opportunity to exchange with colleagues from across the country in a week long, in residence, dynamic program. We frequently receive new enquiries about the course based on feedback from past participants.

Currently, CPSI is re-aligning the CPSOC and is engaging with partner organizations to develop creative delivery and sustainability mechanisms for the program in the future. We are undergoing a program evaluation and are contacting past alumni to gain a rich understanding of the needs of professionals involved in or interested in this type of work.

As a result of the program revisions, CPSI will not be offering a course in 2010.
