The Canadian Patient Safety Institute is customizing a UK-produced documentary series of DVDs on patient safety, which can be used to educate providers, healthcare leaders and healthcare boards about patient safety, including strategies for initiating change and improvement.
An educational framework of international safety experts and Canadian safety innovators serves as the foundation of CPSI’s customized DVD series, which includes Canadian patient safety stories in both official languages.
The project will be launched by Dr. Jim Reason at the Halifax 7 Conference in Ottawa on October 11, 2007.
