Director of Communications
Cecilia Bloxom, accredited in public relations (APR), is currently the director of communications for CPSI, communicating the mission of safe healthcare for all Canadians.
Cecilia has worked in healthcare communications for the past seven years and joined CPSI from a senior role in public affairs at Capital Health, Edmonton area. Throughout her time at Capital Health, she had the opportunity to work in acute care, rural care, geriatrics, rehab, long-term care, home care, supportive living, and public health.
With a diploma in advertising and public relations and a degree in public relations, Cecilia has held various communications positions over the past 11 years, including for the Alberta Public Affairs Bureau.
Born and raised in Calgary, Cecilia is a mountain girl at heart but considers Edmonton home. Passionate about arts and culture and all things active, she can be found cross-country skiing, seeing a good show, or making her community a better place.
