Director of Finance
Robert Vandervelde is the director of finance, responsible for financial accounting and reporting, leading and supporting the budget process, maintaining internal controls and financial policies, and providing support to the board’s Audit, Finance, and Risk Management Committee. Rob also reviews corporate legal and contract issues, and is co-lead on CPSI’s balanced scorecard system.
Rob is a certified general accountant who also holds a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in English and political science. Before joining CPSI in 2010, he worked for the Alberta government doing fiscal and tax policy, as well as for public accounting firms.
In his free time, Rob enjoys being with his family, reading, hiking, and playing basketball.
