Murray Doggett

Project Manager

Murray Doggett,,project manager in CPSI’s Ottawa office,,contributes to patient-centred simulation initiatives and a variety of educational programs to help improve patient safety.

With a healthcare background in the federal sector, Murray has been involved in the planning and delivery of a variety of national projects and healthcare programs. As the executive director of a comprehensive primary healthcare clinic, he led an inter-professional team in adopting a new patient-focused care delivery model. He contributed to multiple department-wide quality improvement and performance measurement projects and led the development of a comprehensive patient safety plan for the Canadian Forces.

Murray furthered his interest in patient safety and quality during the completion of a master of health sciences (health administration) degree from the University of Toronto. His focus on patient safety deepened while serving as a surveyor with Accreditation Canada. He joined CPSI in June 2009.
